Situated just off the Mumbai - Pune Expressway, at Hinjewadi, 5 km from Pune City, is International Biotech Park, a joint venture between Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) and TCG Real Estate. This is the first public-private biotechnology park initiative in Maharashtra. MIDC invited The Chatterjee Group to participate as a majority partner in the project and subsequent to this the International Biotech Park Limited was incorporated on 9th July 2003.

International Biotech Park Ltd. is an 81 acre Park dedicated to Biotechnology in the field of Pharmaceutical, Biotech products and processes. There are 32 acres of notified Special Economic Zone for Biotechnology products and processes. Currently 40% of the project has been developed and occupied by leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
